We are a small group of local volunteers whose mission is to celebrate fresh, quality, local food and handmade goods. Our aim is to create an enjoyable atmosphere that not only serves our vendors, but also contributes to a prosperous downtown and promotes a sense of community.
Our belief is that local food and local business is the future. We support sustainable agriculture, our local food system and our local economy. We're building a sense of community by connecting the public with local farmers, artists and musicians during our weekly celebrations.
Our market features vendors from all over the Kootenays. We strive to bring you the freshest, highest quality, most local food as possible. Our farmers come from Rossland, Fruitvale, Creston and the Grand Forks. We also bring you an eclectic array of locally handmade goods - jewelry, fibres, chocolate, candles, clothing, snack bags, spices...and so much more! We have many vendors set up who bring you locally baked goods - delicacies that will make your mouth crave more! Don't know what to cook for dinner? Come down to the market and feast! Our market also supports local musicians and we bring you an awesome line-up you can groove to all summer long!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who continue to support our farmers' market year after year!
It takes a lot of support, time, effort and energy to offer a year round farmers' market and we couldn't do it without the generosity of our volunteers and community support!
The City of Rossland generously donates our market space year after year...we wouldn't have a Farmer's Market without their amazing support! Thank you!
The Rossland Public Library is a continuous supporter of our market. Not only are they a weekly vendor through out the summer - visit their booth for the Summer Reading Program! - they also help us out with research and printing costs, and by providing public washrooms during market times. A big thank you to our friends at the Library!
We would like to extend a big thank you to the Columbia Basin Trust for sponsoring our farmers market through the Community Initiatives Program in 2015 + 2016 + 2018! Thanks CBT!
